Who’s everyone’s favorite snowman? Olaf, of course! Whether you’re planning a Frozen-themed event, a children’s Christmas (or New Year’s party), or just want an idea for a special treat to make with your little one, we know you’ll love these Olaf Dessert Cups!
The great thing about these cups is that they are really easy to make, which means that even the youngest helpers can enjoy putting them together. They also are naturally gluten-free and provide a fun and different dessert option.
The first thing you will do for this dessert cup is make your blue Jell-O. Dissolve the box of Berry Blue Jell-O in a large bowl and whisk in 2/3 cup boiling water. After it has dissolve and cooled, fill each of your small cups about 1/3 of the way full with blue Jell-O. Then set them in the refrigerator to chill and solidify. You should have about half of the Jell-O remaining–set this aside.
While your Jell-O chills in the refrigerator, combine the packet of unflavored gelatin with 2/3 cup water and 1 can of condensed milk. This creates a delicious, white gel/mousse that goes perfectly with the blue Jell-O!
Pour the white gel/mousse over the blue Jell-O in each cup and place the dessert cups back in the refrigerator. Once the white layer has fully set, top each cup off with the remainder of the blue Jell-O.
Once all three layers have set, you don’t need to do anything until right before serving. When you are ready to serve the cups, top each one with a yummy, whipped cream swirl and top each one with a decorative Olaf face. Serve immediately and enjoy!
