Ingredients for Reindeer Christmas Cookies

reindeer Christmas cookies - ingredients

15 Milano Cookies (note if you can’t find the candy cane cookies, the traditional dark chocolate cookies work just fine.)
1/4 cup Dark Chocolate Melting Chips
15 Red Candy Decorations (Red Hots)
30 Candy Eyes

How to Make the Reindeer Christmas Cookies

Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe container and then microwave for 45 seconds (do this step in 10-second increments, as needed, until the chocolate chips are melted).

Once melted scoop all the melted chocolate into the corner of a Ziploc bag. Be careful, it will be hot!

Cut a tiny piece off of the corner to make your own icing bag to pipe the melted chocolate on to the cookies.

The melted chocolate becomes the “glue” to affix eyes and nose to the Milano cookie.

Pipe antlers above eyes on each cookie. These don’t have to match perfectly, but try to make them at least be the same length and have the same number of points.

Allow time for setting before serving.
