Easy and Delicious Sloppy Joes

2 lbs ground beef

1 tbsp butter

1/2 medium onion

1/2 bell pepper

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce

1/4 cup water

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tsp yellow mustard

1 1/4 tsp chili powder

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce


Brown and drain ground beef.

Dice onion and bell pepper.

Heat butter in skillet, add onion and bell pepper, and cook until vegetables are tender.

Add all other ingredients.

Heat until warm and until sauce is thickened to your liking. (I like to cook mine longer to make the meat softer and the flavors more intense.)
