15 ounce can of pumpkin puree
4 cups of chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
1/2 tsp pepper, or to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3 sprigs of fresh thyme
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1. Add all of the ingredients, except for the heavy cream to a medium pot over medium high
2. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a steady simmer, and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring
3. Remove pot from heat and add in cream.
4. Mix and serve.
