Do you have a child who loves Angry Birds? (Or do you love them?!) These Angry Birds decorated Oreos would make a super cute birthday theme or even a just-for-fun party theme or snack. Angry Birds decorated Oreos

To Make the Pigs:

  • First, line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
  • Melt your green candy melts wafers. (See the recipe below for tips on what to do if your melted candy is too thick.)
  • Then dip each Oreo cookie into the melted candy being sure to completely coat each one. Place your dipped Oreos onto your waxed paper.
  • Before the candy coating hardens, add candy eyeballs, green Mini M&Ms for ears, and green Spree candies for noses. (Attach with a bit of extra melted candy melts.) Use an edible marker or tiny dots of black icing (applied with a toothpick) to make nostrils.

  • Or if you’d prefer, you can pipe on white icing for the eyes and add black dots with an edible marker (or tiny dots of black icing applied with a toothpick) instead of using candy eyeballs.
  • Then wait for them to set completely.

To Make the Birds:

  • First, you’ll need to line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
  • Then you’ll melt your red candy melts wafers (if you’re making red birds) or black candy melts wafers (if you’re making black birds). (See the recipe below for tips on what to do if your melted candy is too thick.)
  • Next, dip each Oreo cookie into the melted candy being sure to completely coat each one. Place your dipped Oreos onto your waxed paper.
  • Before the candy coating hardens, add candy eyeballs and pieces of Starburst candies cut to form beaks. (Attach with a bit of melted candy melts.) Or if you’re the creative type, pipe on some white icing for eyes (Add a black dot with an edible marker or add a tiny dot of black icing applied with a toothpick.) and pipe on orange or yellow icing for beaks. Add black or orange sprinkles for eyebrows so your birds will look appropriately angry!
